Nuke Description

Here is what you need to know about the tactical nuke in MW2.

■If the nuke is selected as one of your killstreaks, it can be used after getting 25 kills in a row without dying.

■It will detonate on the map after 10 seconds.

■The killstreak ends the round by killing everyone on the map, so you can't hide from it.

■It gives you and your team an instant win.

Also, no matter what the score is, or how much time is left in the game, the nuke suspends that and you will get the win, even if your team is losing 7400-3100 and they get a kill during the countdown, it doesn't count as an in-game kill. My nuke I set off when our team was losing in domination 121-199, you should've heard the kids in the lobby on the other team.

The timer cant stop the nuke either. once a nuke is called in, It cannot be stopped

Very very true all good things to remember, there is also a way to survive the nuke, you have to go into laptop mode with a pred missile or something right before the nuke hits and when the nuke kills everyone you will still be alive, also works in last stand too I believe.

I will try that when i unlock all the killstreaks and get more kills frequently.

EMP's also do not stop nukes, tried myself :/
